Portfolio Submission Requirements
Along with your applications, please submit a portfolio of ten, mounted (or professionally presented), 8 x 10 images showing your work. These images may be of any nature but must be of PROFESSIONAL quality. Your portfolio will be viewed by Executive Branch members.
Images are to be a representation of what type of photographer you will be promoting yourself as in our association. These images should be some of the ones that you feel are your best work or a good representation of what you do.
Keep in mind that this is not an accreditation entry but some of the same rules apply to this submission…
Best 10 images that represent professional quality
- Good print quality
- Proper use of light
- Cropping
- Focal length of lenses/or using the right lens for the image
- Proper use of flash/or using when needed or when not needed
- Exposure
- Good contrast on Black and White images
- Spotting or retouching
- Composition
- Special effects if you do them
- Variety… different models/backgrounds/situations
